AGEMERA holds webinar for teachers on CRMs

Our partners at TalTech conducted an informative online session on the role of minerals in today's world

What role do minerals play in our day-to-day lives? The answer might be less obvious to the uninitiated - but minerals can be found virtually everywhere in our routines. From browsing the internet through smartphones, to doing all our work on laptops, and getting clean energy from wind turbines - minerals are to be found in almost everything we do. And we were extremely happy to be able to share this knowledge with school teachers back in December!

The online session focused on explaining the need for raw materials for our modern economies, how they are essential to our lifestyles, and why we can extend our sustainability efforts in this direction, as well, through the innovative ways that help make up a circular economy.

And the best part? You can now check this out for yourself, as the webinar has been recorded and is available on our YouTube channel! Make sure to check the videos below...

1. Minerals got talent here - Introduction by MSc Henri Suomalainen
(Specialist at TalTech Department of Geology, Division of Mineral Resources and Applied Geology).

2. Supply chains, value chains, and the Critical Raw Materials Act here - by PhD Tony Hand

(Sustainable Mining Project Manager at TalTech Department of Geology)

3. Interactive e-learning workshop here
